Does Coffee Cause Bone Issues?

One of the biggest misconceptions about coffee is that, it can easily lead to osteoporosis. The Osteoporosis is nothing but decreasing the bone density to cause the fragile and brittle bones. The bone deficiency is often caused by smoking, a sedentary lifestyle, age and a lack of calcium. However, the important thing to take note is that the risk factors that cause osteoporosis do not include the coffee!In early 1970?s most of the researchers showed that the caffeine content in coffee could cause the body to expel the calcium and increase the risk for osteoporosis. However, the newer and more extensive medical research have proved that this study is false. In general, it is true that the body will excrete some calcium from caffeine consumption, but it is not significant enough to cause any risk of osteoporosis. The earlier studies regarding the c dietrine offee and bone health failed to consider the other factors, such as the women. They are already calcium deficient and not taking milk on a daily basis.Many medical professionals are coming to the consensus that the regular coffee drinking does not cause a risk of osteoporosis, though excess coffee consumption is not ideal for women who already may have calcium deficiency. The another important thing to keep in mind is that 90% of coffee drinkers are in taking even more calcium in their daily cup.Because, the coffee consists of more amount of milk too. Basically, there is no optimum research to prove that the coffee or other caffeinated beverages leads to the lower bone density which is a common misconception. Even the Food and Chemical Toxicology publication proved that there is no evidence, that the caffeine affects the bone health for the worse.
